JPMorgan Chase Credit card department,
I purchased a wooden trunk while traveling in - with my credit card thinking it would be covered by purchase protection. The merchant arranged the shipping to the USA. It arrived months late, broken, dirty, and damaged. I reached out to the merchant myself on multiple occasions and they did not respond. I filed a claim with chase when I returned from my trip, and they did not reimburse me as they should have. They also did not respond to multiple requests explaining why my claim was denied. Chase says they reached out to the merchant on my behalf, but they are not offering any purchase protection on their end as they promised me. I feel like I have been cheated and lied to regarding purchase protection.
