Amex Credit card department,
Amex with - membership solicited a interest free introductory period which in my case was until - 2015. -/-/- the interest rate was to start accruing, however Amex has been double billing interest as well as finance charges on my account. I contacted them at least - time to speak with a customer service representative which has been documented. They initially credited my account for - of the interest rate charges and they backed them back into my account. I have only made purchases on this account and should not have been billed - different interest rate charges as attached. This is in violation of their disclosure statement which clearly states the rate of interest at 15 % and there are not any disclosures which allow them to double bill interest rate : Your current annual interest rates as of -/-/-:15.24 % Purchases25.24 %
