Some company named high point asset management from phone number - keeps calling everyday. I answered one time and I was threatened to be put in jail for not paying a debt ( a debt they could not explain ) if I did not provide them with my debit card number or bank account number to satisfy the debt. The lady advised there was a court order to have me arrested if not paid. I hung up on her. They call everyday, I have my cell phone on auto reject but they leave the same voicemail everyday. Thy never did confirm the debt, they just kept asking for my personal information. I aksed them to mail me a validation of debt and they say " they did '' but I never received anything. Is this legal? And how do I stop it?
