JPMorgan Chase Credit Card Complaint

Balance transfer fee

JPMorgan Chase Credit card department,

Balance transfer fee Texas

Chase credit cart promoted zero balance transfer fees for 60 days from the date our credit card account is opened, but did not disclose the actual date that the account was opened. As a result, Chase charged balance transfer fees when we believed we were within the 60-day promotional period. Letters sent to us specified an account activation date of -/-/2015 and Chase claims an earlier date was used as the account opening date. We contacted Chase to resolve this problem but they refused and argued that they considered the balance transfer fees valid. We consider this information to be a deceptive business practice ; there is no written disclosure provided to us, either on paper or via online processing, which specifies the actual account opening date so that consumers like us can calculate the actual time remaining on Chase 's advertised promotional period.
