Medical Disclosure verification of debt Not given enough info to verify debt California

I was attempting to have a debt disputed on my recent credit report. I called the reporting debt collector ( Debt Recovery Solutions ) to find out what the debt was. The only information they would give me was that it was an ambulance company and it was a debt from 2011. There was indeed a ambulance ride in 2011 but it was covered by insurance. The bills were going to the wrong address according to the debt collector but they would not provide me with the name or phone number of the ambulance service. I asked to speak to a supervisor because I knew that they had to provide me this information by law. I was hung up on. I called back - more times and I was hung up on. - is disputing this for me but it could take up to 30 days. I am in the middle of securing loans for a new business. My credit score dropped from - to - the day this debt hit my credit report. ( Yesterday ) If I had the name of the ambulance service I could resubmit the insurance and have it taken care of. But Debt Recovery Solutions apparently want me to take care of the debt in order to collect their money. This is going to ruin any chances I have of securing the loans that I could have when my score was - and did not show I have a delinquent account over 4 years old.
