A situation has occurred that I believe disserves attention by your bureau. We are in the process of purchasing a home. We have paid off all of our credit cards, a car purchased for people from - and - of the houses. Our loan officer has asked us to obtain letters from each of the credit cards and banks showing that we have a zero balance. Everyone has been very helpful except for Dillard 's - Credit Card. I called this morning, requesting a letter so we can close on - -, 2015. My husband is having - on - - 2015 and will not be able to lift anything for several days. We want to move a trundle bed, table and chairs, and assorted items into the house so we can go and work on the house. We have been married 12 years, dated for - and this will be the first time we will be able to live together. We are very excited to have this happen. Dillard 's will only mail out the letter, I need it this week. Everyone else was able to fax or email their letters within a day or two. Dillard 's employee


over the same information. I finally had to hang up. So, I went to Customer Service at Dillard 's in the - - - in -, Colorado. Asked to speak with the store manager and was told she was at lunch. They took my information and said she would call someone when she returned and then call me. I have not heard from her and it 's been two and ahalf hours. I have a Dillard 's - card. So, while waiting I called - - to see if they could help. We spend several - dollars with - - each month. We are impressed with their servcies, they are wonderful when you have an issue on a purchase. They inform me that they do n't have anything to do with Dillard 's -, I think that is false advertising. Why put - - on the card if you ca n't access your account and then the payments are handled through Wells Fargo Bank. What a fiasco! I should be able to have my credit information available immediately from Dillard 's. Having to wait ten days for the letter that I have zero balance, considering the day and age we live is absurd. They are going to cause us time and money, we will have to pay for someone to help move these items, We are in our sixties and I can not lift the beds by myself. Whatever happened to people helping others, why ca n't this company be like everyone else and email or fax this letter to me or my loan officer? I really doubt that - '' even sent in the request for the letter, I have no faith in anyone at Dillard 's.
