Wells Fargo Credit card department,
I have a business credit card with Wells Fargo bank. - this year they have held my payment until it was past due and then charged me a late fee and finance charges. The statements in question were due on -/-/2015 and paid on -/-/2015 and -/-/2015 and paid on -/-/2015. On both occasions I called and complained because it appears the payment I make are being held until the - of each month, before they process them and I am told on - occasions that is when they were received. I live in - and the processing for Wells Fargo is in - -. Mail service generally takes 3 days for delivery between - and the -, yet some how no matter when I send the payment it is not processed until the - of the month. Wells Fargo has denies any wrong doing, but has refunded the late fees, but refuses to refund the finance charges of $3.00 and $1.00 from these - incidences. I have had enough of this banks practices and hope your agency will look into these questionable practices. They have told me I could give them access to my checking account so they can make direct withdrawl of funds or I can pay the bill at one of their banks, but they do not recommend sending a check through the mail anymore. I should not have to go out of my way to make these payments because of their practices of holding payment checks until the - of the month even though it was sent in plenty of time before due. I have - accounts with Wells Fargo and I am going to seriously consider changing banks after 20 years of banking with them.
