Credit card Taking/threatening an illegal action Threatened to sue on too old debt Florida

I was called to the office by my -. I was advised that I needed to contact this company to avoid Legal Court Papers being served at my place of employment. To avoid this legal action I needed to contact their office. When I contacted to avoid this harassment they indicated they wanted to settle to avoid taking legal actions against me. This credit card is over 10 years old.
