This collection company called CBA sent me to collection without the notice to dispute the validity of the debt. This is a medical bill from a - that was supposed to be paid by -. This was back in 2011, account # - maybe they were sending the bills to my former address, I have been in a very difficult financial situation, I am on -. I saw this collection in my credit record. My original amount was $630.00, I called them today to make a payment arrangement but a lady told me that I owe them $870.00, that is $240.00 more than the original amount FOR A MEDICAL BILL, THE AMOUNT IT 'S GOING UP EVERY MONTHI do not know if this is legal because I have not seen that before. I suggest that this Bureau audits this collection agency without notice and find out if they are violating the law. I can make a payment for the original amount but they have to delete this collection from my credit record since I did not had the chance to dispute the debt, I was thinking that this procedure was paid by my Insurance, if I knew about this bill and my insurance did not wanted to pay, I could appeal at that time their decision and have them pay the bill
