JPMorgan Chase Credit card department,
I applied for a Chase Slate credit card, advertised as having zero interest on balance transfers. The intent was to transfer a $20000.00 existing balance. I completed the information online and was informed that I was approved for a $5000.00 credit line, which I did not want because it was not sufficient to cover the existing balance that I wanted to transfer. I immediately called Chase and they said they would close the account, but it would show as a closed account. It should never show up at all as I would have never accepted this offer. I was never given the opportunity to reject the offer once I got the credit limit, a key term in the agreement.
