I informed Americollect via FA-, email, and paper mail that 1 ) I am disputing the fact that the bill had gone to collections with - - - -, 2 ) I wanted debt validation, and 3 ) I wanted them to cease any attempts to collect this debt. Americollect failed to respond to any of these requests. Furthermore, - of their agents attempted to collect a debt by contacting me at my personal cell phone number at -. I filed a complaint with - and - about this issue and Americollect sent the attached letter as a response. Yesterday, I received another debt collection letter from the company.
