Avant Credit Corporation Consumer loan department,
Installment loan Managing the loan or lease Indiana
When i first established this loan, i requested to have it taken from a certain bank account and was denied. So, when the payment was returned on - - 2015, from a hardly used bank account, i called and was finally given permission to change the bank account on my loan. The lender charged me the $15.00 NSF and withdrew the loan amount from the correct bank account on - -, 2015. I made my regular loan pymt on - -, 2015. Because the lender does not issues statements nor send out email statements, I had to go to the website to see what my balance was. Their website does not display the balance either. There is no way you can find out the balance on your account unless you call the lender. While looking at the breakdown of my last - payments, I saw that they lender had taken the entire $380.00, totaling $770.00, and applied it straight towards the principal. When i contacted to lender to ask them why, I was told that, because my payment was returned in -, I had to
catch up '' interest clause in my contract being that I had made the payment in - as I was suppose to and that I did not see what - had to do with -. I then requested to have monthly statements either mailed or emailed to me so that I could have a record of both my payments and my balance because it did not seem to be moving. The rep informed me that the company does not give statements. I asked her how could a consumer keep track of their balance/payments if nothing was offered to show them what was going on with their account? She sent me a break down of my last payment. That was it.
