I was attending - University ( online ), my term started -/-/15 and ended -/-/15. On -/-/15 I informed my student advisor due to a - and health factors I need to drop out of school. After having to call again on -/-/15 because no action was taken and speaking to - different student advisors and - financial advisors I was able to drop my classes and was told I had to pay before I could attend classes again which I was fine with. -/-/15 bill from - University showed no charges and the -/-/15 bill showed the charges for the classes I dropped. On -/-/15 I got a call from Van Ru Credit Corporation stating I have not paid my bill in 131 days ( which would be -/-/15 ) and the - term that I owed for did n't even start until -/-/15. She also stated that at 135 days that they would start tacking on interest and report to credit bureaus as bad credit. I tried to work with - University where - people there and - people at Van Rue Credit told me that they were not a part of - University and they could n't help me. So I did n't even have a bill saying what I owed until -/-/15, was threatened that I only had 4 days to pay on -/-/15 or it would be reported to credit bureaus as bad credit, and that I had n't paid in 131 days even though the classes I was paying for had n't started till -/-/15 which was only 86 days from the first phone call I received about it, and only 3 days from the first bill I received regarding the debt.
