Medical Disclosure verification of debt right to dispute notice not received
Midwest Recovery Systems Debt collection department,
Medical Disclosure verification of debt Right to dispute notice not received Missouri
Midwest Recovery Systems reported a collection debt to my - Credit file on -/-/- for $300.00 medical bill. I never received a 30 day disclosure of any collection activity. When I called them on -/-/- after finding out this debt was placed on my credit file by - monitoring service, I was told this was a medical office debt with - - for -/-/- and that the debt was sold from another collection agency ( - or -? ) to Midwest Recovery Systems. Midwest Recovery Systems has violated federal law by not sending me a 30 day notice to validate the collection to my address on file with -. This caused my credit score to drop - points and I intend seeking full restitution and damages if this is not removed from my credit file immediately. If the debt was originally occurred -/-/- then it would make the debt 6 1/2 years ( six and half years ) old now which I knew nothing about. This is an illegal practice of debt selling and manipulation that violates the FCRA. Furthermore it can not be reported beyond 7 years. If a collection company can report to a credit bureau then they sure can pull my current address to send me a letter regarding a debt. This item needs to be removed immediately from my credit file.
