JPMorgan Chase Credit card department,
I have a card with Chase Bank ( Amazon rewards ), which I 've had for at least 7 or 8 years. I have managed this card very well and have utilized less than 20 % of my available credit limit. On or around -/-/15, I called into the customer call center to request a balance transfer option, as I wanted to transfer a higher rate balance to my chance card for a lower amount. The woman that I spoke to identified herself as a manager who informed me that she personally has a Chase Freedom card. She explained to me that while the option was not currently available on my online account, she would request the marketing department to enable the balance transfer option for me, and I should see it most likely within 3-5 business days. She explained to me that the managers can request this on behalf of customers, and that customers sometimes stop getting the balance transfer offers when they do n't use them. She advised me to check the online account or call back to see if the offer was available, as the marketing department did not take customer calls. This manager sounded Caucasian, and
later to check on the status, and the person at that time informed me that the balance transfer was still *in process. * I called back again sometime last week ( on or around -/-/2015 ) and spoke to another supervisor who claimed that all of the above was impossible, and there was no way to request balance transfers. I do not appreciate conflicting information, and am very eager to receive the balance transfer offer which I was promised. My understanding after speaking to the first manager was that I would receive this balance transfer offer very soon. I have a deadline to transfer the funds before the end of the month, and given that a manager from Chase offered me this option, I will hold Chase responsible for any interest charges that I accrue after - -, 2015.
