Out of the blue Meridian Financial SVC, - - - - -, - -, sent me a notice dated - -, 2015 about a claim of $700.00 that was assigned to Meridian as collection agency ; no proof of a claim was provided ; we needed to respond in 30 days. In a registered letter of - -, 2015, I informed Meridian that we owned a timeshare at - - - - - -, - which we disposed off ten years ago ( - -, 2005 -, and that we disputed that we owed - - any debts. Without sending me proof of this alleged claim, Meridian Financial sent me another letter that I did not dispute the claim (? ) ; I replied on - - that I did dispute the claim and that they needed to stop harassing me or provide proof of any debt owed. Today I was informed that Meridian put on my otherwise - credit report a negative Collection Agency claim of $700.00.
