I just received a call today, -, from someone claiming to be from -, when spefically asked if with government -, the gentleman said yes. The agent proceeded to tell me as part of - his job was to let people know they are entitled to savings due to the type of loan that I had.I was told I did n't need to agree to anything at the moment and just to hear the cost savings. The agent proceeded to connect me to a 'Specialist ' while he remained on the line. I heard a recording say Loan Depot before the 'specialist ' got on the line and asked the agent who was Loan Depot as he said - - The line was abruptly disconnected at this point. Please make consumers aware loan companies are claiming to be federal agencies.
