In -/-/- me and my family received news that the home we were living is going to be sold and were forced to move out. I then applied for a townhouse to rent and after conducting a credit check the property management company indicated to me that I needed to reach out to - - '', aka Rent Collect Debt Global '' and get a payment arrangement letter before i was approved to move in for a past due bill. I then proceeded to call this Collection Agency who in turn agreed to work out a payment arrangement but then refused to provide me with a letter


they give me a figure of about - and agreed to email it to me which they did with a due date for that day? I do n't understand why they 're allowed to email a Settlement letter but not a PPA letter? Nevertheless i forwarded this to the property management company per their request and informed them that the collection agency refused to provide me a PPA letter but did agree to a settlement letter? He informed me that this was very odd but would look at the settlement letter. The next day i followed up with the property management company and he informed me i was denied because they called this collection agency and spoke with - who informed them i was n't making any payments, and the account was still outstanding? This is a clear third party violation that has had a devastating effect on my life. My family and I are essentially in the streets living house to house with friends and family. I 've contacted our Colorado - - and they 're looking into helping me and my family but nothing has come about yet. My - kids also just started school and the - stress, coupled with the financial burden this has put on our family is unfathomable. We have to sleep at - separates houses every week which has put a burden on people who do n't deserve it. I get that i owe a Debt, but conveying personal details, and denying me an opportunity to receive a written agreement about my debt is very unprofessional and wrong. The only reason why they did this is because they knew i needed it to get a place to live. They 're holding it over my head, and using it as leverage to exploit the fact that i cant get a place or move on in life without it. I feel I 've been treated un fairly, i mean in all honesty i think it 's far fetched that they 've never given anyone a payment letter before
