A company named IQ Data has been attempting to collect $150.00 from me for money they claim I owed to an apartment complex at which I lived in -, T- when I was -. Neither this company, nor anyone else, has been able to explain to me why I owe this money. Instead, when the debt collectors call, they simply state that they do not have to tell me why I owe money because it 's in collection. When I contested the collection with the credit bureaus, - immediately took the charge off. Subsequently, IQ Data then falsely reported to - that the debt was paid in full, which leaves the collection on my record but gets the credit reporting agency to stop investigating. When I contested the charge with - -, IQ Data reported to them that it 's still a collection account. IQ Data still continues to call and demand the money, asserting that they do not have to tell me why I owe money and that they do not know what it 's for.
