I contacted Focus Receivables Management, the collection agency used by -. The amount of the debt was $630.00 originally. I was able to settle with Focus Receivables Management for $500.00. I paid the settlement and was told the collection would be taken off my credit report. It has not only not been taken off my report, but has also not been updated to a paid status.
