Taking/threatening an illegal action Threatened to sue on too old debt Washington

My wife and I have been getting harassing phone calls on our cell phones and at work about a debt we know nothing about. ( They called her - in the last 5 days at work and told her manager she would be served papers at work when she returned ) they are claiming we owe a debt to Wells Fargo from 2005 ( well past the 6 year statute of limitations in Washington state ) they say we are going to be sued and that her wages will be garnished. they wo n't give us any more info without disclosing sensitive information with them.
