I applied for and received a $500.00 payday loan in -/-/-. Although it was for $500.00, payment was received from - different lenders for $250.00 each. Payments were combined into - loan by the lenders and paid in full in -/-/-. I started receiving automated phone calls from - stating that I needed to call regarding an important matter in -/-/-. I called and spoke to a gentleman at Concord Resolution who claimed that the debt was not paid and that I now owed over $800.00, but that he would cut me a deal and accept $640.00. '' I informed him those loans were paid years ago and to stop calling me. He said they would continue calling until I paid them and that if not, they would garnish my wages and sue me. I told him to go ahead and get his lawyers and I 'll get mine - his final words were


I did not hear from them for several months after this incident until last week. The same recorded calls are now being made to my cell phone - times per day and to my WORK phone number, which is internal and unlisted, calling as many as - times per day, even - times in the same minute. I have no idea how they got this number. This is harassment and is absolutely unacceptable. I do not owe any money to these people and if I did, why would it not be reported on my credit? These calls need to stop and someone needs to address their aggressive, threatening collection tactics.
