Procollect Collection agency reported a debt of $870.00 by error to my credit report, I find out of that debt when I was trying to get a Home Loan and I was told that I needed to pay that first. Credit report was showing that balance was from Original creditor - -, I contacted that storage place and talked to a Supervisor, I faxed over my information over to them. They advised me that they did not reported anything under my SSN to credit report, and that the error is from the collection agency. I contacted Procollect on -/-/- and talk to - - I told him that there was an error that account # - with a debt of $870.00 from original creditor Assured Self Storage was not mine. He advised me Fax my DL, SSN and a Police report. I faxed over My information and also contacted them back to make sure it was received. I was told account was going to under investigation. On -/-/- I received a letter from Procollect stating that was a true debt and also they mailed me a contract of for a storage unit under the name of - - - Last


date of birth -/-/- I 'm not from -. I told them this tells me that you did n't even took the time to review my case and resolved BIG MISTAKE ypu have made. I talked to Supervisors and they keep telling me that is my debt and that I need to pay. I called them so many times to fix issue and they are not listening. I think is unfair to charge me for some - else debt and this company should not be running a business, because they charging to the wrong person, also this their employees are very rude that makes your life so difficulty. You can not imagine how much time and tears I have waste because of this company, I even had to go to the doctor and asked for medication because I was so stressed out about this issue and my - -, and the worse thing is not is not even my debt. I contacted local police dept. for help. Detective - assisted me contacting them, they told her that it was going to be taking care, the next day this collection agency call me back again asking to pay that bill. After I faxed and email my proof they did nothing to fix the problem I called the - and file a claim with them they told as well that it was going to take care. I contacted Procollect to ask for a letter stating that issue has been taking care and that balance has been removed from credit report, I 'm asking for the letter because I do n't trust them and I 'm scare that this is going to happen again. When I called they keep telling that they will give me a call back, but they are not returning my call back. Please help me with this issue and please do something about this abusive company.
