Good-afternoon, I am submitting a complaint on Chex-systems because on or about -/-/- I requested a Chex-systems report online because of an identity theft issue that I have. I reviewed my report and found a fraudulent account that was established in my name for the sole purpose to apply for a credit card in my name with - -, because if you are not an existing customer they require for you to apply in person. The identity thieves established this account and the account went in to charge off status once they used the credit card and deposits were never made to the account. There were also a list of fraudulent inquiries with several institutions they are as follows - -, - -, - - -, - -, - - -, -. The last time that I applied for a checking account was with - - - which they have been my bank since the merger of -. I sent in a fax to Chex-systems with - different police reports that were filed on separate months because of the continued theft against my personal information. I have had a lot of frustrations with this issue as it has been my responsibility in contacting each institution and notifying them of the theft. I am filing this complaint and attaching a copy of what was sent to chex-systems by fax, in hopes of clearing my name from any negative reporting and inquiries that have resulted from the fraud that has been committed against me. My file should be reporting free of any charge offs and no inquiries against my report as i have not applied for a checking account since -/-/-.
