Wells Fargo Credit card department,
Twice in the last 30 days I have submitted money to my Wellsfargo Visa credit card account and - the funds were not applied to my account for approximately four days. They are claiming this is there payment policy payment float '' Is this legal? It is my understanding that technology makes these funds available immediately. Wellsfargo is claiming it is because I am paying the bill from an account not held with Wellsfargo. This is not an attempt to ensure the payments are good this is an attempt to force people to open bank accounts with Wellsfargo. It should be noted the funds are being removed from my checking account held with -Bank almost immediately yet Wellsfargo is claiming they are not able to apply the funds for a minimum of four days.
