I have had - installed as a precaution due to my -, so that when I have a - - I can press my necklace signaling the paramedics. We bought a house and decided to move the system with us. After we moved there were several occasions where my husband and I were called about a burglar alarm, fire alarms and other instances of the alarm being tripped. I would call in several times to speak to someone about the issues because when I would race home, thinking my daughter or mother was in danger ... .everything would be fine. Upon finally reaching someone with - who could pull up my account, they stated that the previous address we moved from was still active and that there was n't much they could do about it. It was too much work to de-activate every sensor in the house. I asked to speak to several different people until they finally agreed to go through and de-activate each sensor. They refused to give me my money back for the 3-4 months the false alarms were going off at the previous residence we lived at. I asked to cancel their services and they refused
to the new account. Then I receive a letter from Omega RMS , LLC, a collection agency hired to collect the remaining balance of my contract which is $760.00. I spoke with them and they are asking the full amount regardless of the horrible service - has delivered. No one will help me fix the issues because they know we are extremely distraught with their so called security systems and are now demanding we pay the full amount of the contract, even though they did anything but provide security for me and my family. I just wanted to feel safe in my house and I do not with their system not operating to the full extent that we originally agreed on. There should be some sort of clause in that contract that if the security system is defaulting, no charges should be made to the customer otherwise, why should I even have it? If it 's not going to work all the time, what am I paying for? There was no urgency to resolve the issue, when in fact if anything would of been on fire, a emergency medical situation arose or we had been burglarized ; my attorney would of come after them with flying colors due to the issues they would not correct or even take responsibility for.
