First National Bank of Omaha Credit card department,
For years, I have had a - Rewards Program credit card through -. Many months ago I received notification that the rewards program is being discontinued and that another bank - First National Bank of Omaha - will be issuing a new credit card. I recently received a letter stating that my - - Card will be invalid as of -/-/- and that reward points will remain until -/-/-. Here 's my complaint and problem : I plan to use the reward before -/-/-, but I do not want another credit card issued ; i do n't need an additional credit card. The Are Lingus Rewards card was requested specifically for the rewards. So, I contacted First National Bank of Omaha and told them what was mentioned above. They were n't sure if i would lose points if the transfer was n't accepted. I then contacted -. They informed me that if i cancelled the - - card, my points would be lost, but if i rejected the First National Omaha card, the points would still carry over. I then called First National Bank of Omaha again saying i do not wan t their card issued. They told me - ( - - ) has to deal with it. If I cancel the - - card lose all my accumulated points. Am I forced to accept a card i do n't want issued, one I did not apply for? Like many people i have multitude credit cards ; I do not need or want another one. Please let me know what i should do. Over the years I have cancelled store cards and credit cards, yet they still are listed on my credit reports. I DO NOT want another card issued. Thank you.
