Medical Communication tactics Threatened to take legal action Oregon
I have had - accounts with Southern Oregon Credit Service for a few years now. The debt collectors have now attempted for the - time to garnish my wages. - accounts have been paid off with them. The - times, I called SOCS to make the delinquent accounts right with them. Each time they have worked with me to fix the problem. This - time was different, I will admit that I did not return their call. however I have never returned their phone calls. I send in my payment of - each month. - is the collector I last talked to who told me that they sent back my -/-/2015 Check because my account was expired and that I cannot just send in money and expect them to accept it. I told her this is the arrangement that was made with them. She said they refused the check and sent it back to me. I have yet to receive the check. Today -/-/2015 I received the garnishment papers as well as a letter from their attorney that was written on -/-/2015 but post marked on -/-/2015 The letter states that I have - days to dispute the validity of
feel that even though I did not make contact they are still contradicting themselves. Their attorney is telling me that I can make payment arrangements but - has refused to help me with anything, as well as refused my monthly checks. I have spoken with my bank institute who has confirmed that my -/-/2015 check was in fact cashed and processed. Is there anything that I can do to fight this Garnishment? This will be processed as of next week. I can use all the help I can get. Legally isn't their something against refusing payments on accounts?
