I have a secured credit card with Wells Fargo. I was renting a car with -. I left my secured credit card as collateral there. When I paid with the car, however, I used my debit card. - accidentally charged - my credit and my debit card. They then reversed the charge on the credit card. Because this charge was over my limit, Wells Fargo closed the card and refused to reopen it even after - admitted fault and reversed the charge. This has negatively affected my credit even though I did not authorize this charge to be made.
