Requested the details regarding the charge and no information has been received from these people ; yet the letters continue even though debts are no longer a part of my credit history. Illegal collection practices in play here. Former collections manager that is able to spot violations of FDCPA when he sees it. They are looking to collect on debt that was removed from the credit bureaus during the purchase of my home back in - of 2015. The removal was due to the debts being deemed by the credit bureaus as Too old to collect '' as the accounts are over 10 years old. They may be debt buyers '' that are looking to utilize illegal collection tactics. The new collection agency tactics is to try an establish contact with proposed debtors in order to reactivate the debt and establish collection techniques all over again. I have asked them to substantiate the debt which they are unable to do but again the letters continue to arrive at my home ( harassment strategy ) even after dispute notice was faxed to them back on - -, 2015.
