I have a credit card from Wells Fargo- $800.00 limit. I transferred $1200.00 to it from my checking account-/-/2015 so as to use it for a transaction but the extra money was not showing after all. I called the bank -/-/2015 to transfer the $1200.00 back to my checking, I was told that the money will show in my checking account the next day ; I waited till the next day as was told but the money was n't in my checking account so I called again that day-/-/2015, I was told that they will take care of it. On Monday the following week-/-/2015, I went to a shop and my credit card was denied so I came back home and checked my accounts, I did not see the $1200.00 that was supposed to be transferred back to my checking account and my credit card had been closed. I called them and they said they transferred the money back to my checking account - mistakenly and this threw the credit card account over the limit and my credit card account was closed, the reason being that I went over the limit because the bank made a mistake and transferred $1200.00
was told that it was my fault that they transferred $1200.00 back - into my checking account ; they said because I called - and requested for the transferred back to my checking account and that they did that. I am feeling this complaint because I feel cheated out, embarrassed at the shop and felt like this is discriminatory. It was not my fault that a bank will make a double transfer when I was told that I was supposed to see the money in my account the next day and when I did not see it, I called back. The transfers did not show on my checking account until the next day-/-/2015, so as at -/-/2015, I had no knowledge that such transfers were made. It is all the bank 's mistake.
