She and her family found themselves in need for quick funds and she visited a Check N Go location in - -. She took out a $300.00 loan, paying $45.00 in fees and receiving the $250.00 principal. On - occasion, she did not have enough money in her bank account when the lender took the $250.00 amount from her account, resulting in an overdraft fee from the bank for $35.00. The two-week period given by the lender to pay back the loan was not enough for her to stabilize her finances. She was forced to repeat this loan - times before defaulting. She paid $220.00 in fees for her $250.00 principal. In - of 2015 she began receiving calls from a collection agency. She was unable to communicate properly with the collection agency representative due to a -. Instead, she asked them to speak to her daughter and explain the situation to her. Her daughter received countless calls and emails from the agency and they became extremely inconvenient. At times, she received calls to her cell while she was at work and unable to answer. Through these calls, she was threatened and told she would be sent to court if she did not pay the $340.00 they were asking for. Out of fear of being sent to court, she paid the amount she was asked for, but has yet to receive any proof of her payment.
