i had closed a checking account on -/-/14 with a - dollar balenceand i tried to withdraw this and the bank said they did not owe me. i received a letter from - saying i owe them -! they put this on my credit report after i tried to resolve the issue with them. i found this out after i had applied for credit and was denied. they also stated that i closed the account on -/-/2014 in wich someone had just scribbled in on the statement they had sent me. i have the original statments from the bank proving this.
