Today -/-/-/-/2015, I contacted Stellar Recovery - to resolve an acct my husband has outstanding. My call was directed to an employee named - -. Upon initiation of this call with - - I asked to see if a check had been received, that was sent out -/-/-/-/2015, to settle the acct in full. From the beginning - - tone was condescending and demeaning. He - informed me the acct had been settled and then immediately retracted his statement saying that it was not settled because the company no longer handles the acct and any check received will be declined. He further stated, in his words That 's why you should make payments over the phone when we call ''. I asked for clarification as to who now handles the acct now. He did not immediately relinquish this information, which then lead me to ask for his name and to speak to his supervisor. At this point - - began to berate me in a unprofessional/unwarranted tone. He told me a supervisor was not available to speak with. I then asked to speak to another employee, to which he did not agree but threatened to terminate to call. After approximately 5 minutes of back and forth with - - requesting to speak to another employee I informed him that I am 8 months pregnant and did not need any extra stress.
