State Collection Service, Inc. Debt collection department,

Medical Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt was paid Florida

I dispute this debt because my - machine is paid off completely and has been over-billed and paid for based on previous correspondence with - and - -. This was paid for in 2013 and now all of the sudden they are trying to get us to pay for it again. - - confirmed that the - rental was converted to a purchase on -/-/2013 and was paid off, at most I would ever owe the insured percentage not covered by insurance which would be less than or equal to $83.00. This amount was covered by my original payment to you. This information was verified on - separate occasions by - - employees -, -, and -. Furthermore, my $500.00 deductible was met after 3 months of rental payments and thus the remaining payments should have been billed to and paid by my insurance, - per their policy and the pre-authorized agreement. I have spoken to this company multiple times and they have stated they will resolve the issue and instead of resolution I get another bill and it has been sold to a debt collection agency. This is beyond unprofessional and is a fraudulent attempt to steal more money from myself and the insurance company.
