I was contacted about a debt on -/-/- that I questioned the legitamacy of. The debt collector claimed I owed over $500.00 for medical bills dating back to -. I sent a certified letter asking for verification. On - -, I received a letter stating that the verified debt was $19.00. I received another call today, -/-/- again claiming that I owe over $500.00. I was told they would have to verify the debt again.
