Upon reviewing my personal credit report I noticed - collections that I have no knowledge of. 1.- public library2. Unique Management services , inc. for the amount of $ -This debt is not mine.After finding this information I quickly called - parties on the collection and told there must be some mistake. the collection is from overdue/lost books from the library in - - -.I believe they have myself mixed up with my brother.We share the same - and - names aswell as the same - initial of our middle names.I spoke with - companies and seemed like all they wanted was money instead of finding out who when what and where.I explained to the library that they must have me mixed up with my brother and that I live halfway across the united states for years now and there was no way this could be me.I asked for proof of debt and was told that they only have a name and address on the account.I asked if they have a driver liscense to go along with the library issued card pertaining to the account and was told they do n't have that information just a age range - ( perfectly fits my brothers age ) .I was told there was nothing they could do. I sent a certified debt validation letter to the collection agency asking for proof that this is my debt and all I got back was a name an address and a list of overdue/lost books and an amount of collection. the address they have on file for this account was my childhood home until I moved away, my brother of the same - - and middle initial name still lives there. for this debt to be mine is next to impossible.Please help and Thank you
