Worldwide Asset Recovery out of California called me on Monday at my place of work. This place of work being a school at which I teach. They then proceeded to tell me they were calling to collect a debt for - -. I have not even had an account with them since -/-/2009. The man stated that I would be sued and have attorney fees of over $2200.00 if I did not make a deal with him. He gave me the number - to call him back after I talked to my spouse. He had my social security number, but did not have my right address. He said that I lived in -, which I never have. Most of the information he had could have been found on social media or my school website. I am concerned, and I do not want to pay him. I have been scammed before. When I looked up the company and the number, I came up with spam complaints, harrassments, and a number with no traces. The company did not even have a validated website. They are also not validated/supported by the -.
