I received a collection letter from Resurgent Capital Services for a debt owed to - - -. The charge off date was -/-/2003 for $610.00. Resurgent is demanding payment in the amount of $1200.00 for -. I sent RCS a letter explaining that I do not owe this amount due to the statute of limitations, and I believe I made payment on this debt at an earlier time. Their response, received on - -, was that they were still pursuing payment because the information I sent was insufficient.
