AES/PHEAA Debt collection improper contact or sharing of info talked to a third party about my debt June 30, 2015 - American Education Services in -, PA failed to notify me of a delinquency on my son 's student loan ( I am a co-signer ) .They had previously called me of the delinquency and I called my son who said he would pay it. I had n't heard from them after that and I thought the matter was taken care of. It turned out it was not paid and I was never notified. Eventually 90 days went by. Without calling me or giving me a chance to pay the outstanding amount overdue 90 days, they sent the delinquency to the credit reporting agencies. Now have a negative entry on my credit report.
