January 18, 2017 - A little over a month ago I got approved for a Matrix and a - - by Continental Fiance. I never received the first set of cards. I did receive a bill for the - card that said my due date was - -, 2017. Upon receiving this bill I call the credit company. June 6, 2016 - I had a credit card issued to me by Continental Finance, I 've had it for about a year. I fell behind on payments after being laid off. I was finally able to make a payment of - in - of this year. May 12, 2016 - Dear Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, cc : FTC This company canceled my credit card for no reason. They then continued to bill me fees on a closed account. Also, unknown to me at the time, added these bogus fees to my credit report. I paid their bogus and illegal charges and had it removed from my credit file. Today I receive yet another bill from Continental Finance ( Verve Card ) which includes more fees and interest charges from a card they closed and I verbally called to make sure it was closed after their last illegal stint. April 7, 2016 - On -/-/2016, I mailed a cashier 's check in the amount of $520.00 to Continental Finance to payoff the balance of a credit card account. Also, on -/-/2016, within the same correspondence, I requested that the issuer close my account and send verification that the account has been closed. This has yet to occur. February 5, 2016 - Over a year ago, I had misplaced a credit card ( issued by Continental Finance ). I knew it was in my house somewhere and had not been stolen, but I could not find it. September 24, 2015 - I have been a member of Continental Finance gold master card for many years. I have experienced fraudgelant activity as well as other issues. Since I have cancelled my card and asked to pay off the balance back in - 2015, I have not been able to pay my bill off nor even talk to anyone to get satisfaction.
