Continental Finance Company, LLC Credit card department,
Closing/Cancelling account North Carolina
A little over a month ago I got approved for a Matrix and a - - by Continental Fiance. I never received the first set of cards. I did receive a bill for the - card that said my due date was - -, 2017. Upon receiving this bill I call the credit company. I spoke to the agent and informed them that I have n't received my cards so how do I get a bill. The agent informed me that since I was approved the bill was printed and mail. But since I have n't received my cards I did n't have to pay it. So she looked in the system and had my cards canceled. She explain that the were printing and sending out new cards. So I received my two new cards on - -, 2017. I opened my mail and I call the credit company back. The agent informed me that my cards are good for use and she will re age my accounts and my new due date will be - -, 2017. On - -, 2017 I use the - card and made two transactions that was accepted. The next day I was trying to use the Matrix card and it was denied. I waited until - -, 2017 the next business day to call the credit company back. I was informed by another agent that my cards was canceled. I explain what was going on she even looked into my accounts and say that it was re age to a new due date. She explain that the cards should never have canceled out. She also said that if I wanted to keep them I would have to open both accounts up again. I refused to do that as I did n't want another hard pull to my credit. I am now in fear that this will affect my credit in a negative way. This company had impacted my credit score in a negative way and it was not my fault at all.
