I disputed this account with the credit bureaus, also I sent certified mail to the Allied Collection Services to validate this debt. I had received a notice from experian stating the accounts was updated. However, the update not only included the same false information, but also showed the account was not listed in dispute. Colclough, III Debt collection cont'd attempts collect debt not owed debt resulted from identity theft June 4, 2015 - In the -/-/- I found out about identity theft on my credit report while going through a car loan process with my bank. I have been working closely with Experian and have filed a report with the FTC, the Police Department, as well as with every incorrect collector on my credit report. The person who stole my identity had access to my information including drivers license, signature, addresses, and social security number.
