We recieved a bill at our forwarding address for a unpaid electric and we paid the bill. In - -, more than a year after we moved out, the other lease holder, - - starting recieving calls that we owed the apartment complex $3000.00 due to a broken lease. The lease was not broken and their records should show that our current lease was up. I still have record of the notice we sent in. Debt collection cont'd attempts collect debt not owed debt is not mine October 17, 2015 - After being denied credit due to collection accounts on my report, I ordered a copy and found an account from an agency I have never heard of called Quantum Collections. The amount is for $730.00. I have tried to contact this agency and I have received no response. Not only are they reporting a debt I do not owe and damaging my credit, they have not contacted me even once regarding this debt so that I could dispute its validity and get it removed from my credit history.
