American Financial Credit Services, Inc. Debt collection taking/threatening an illegal action attempted to/collected exempt funds

December 11, 2015 - American Financial kept calling about a medical bill they are saying was sent to collection company my husband had paid it off. the company for the medical bill did not inform American Financial of account being paid off. and their rep kept calling me and advised me she would send my account to the credit bureau which they did and it caused a negative report for me. now I want this problem corrected as soon as possible. thank you for your time. ...
