What's a Robocall?
If you answer the phone and hear a recorded message instead of a live person, it's a robocall. You've probably gotten robocalls about candidates running for office, or charities asking for donations. These robocalls are allowed. But if the recording is a sales message and you haven't given your written permission to get calls from the company on the other end, the call is illegal. In addition to the phone calls being illegal, their pitch most likely is a scam.

Debt collection cont'd attempts collect debt not owed debt resulted from identity theft January 19, 2017 - I 've sent multiple letters to this agency about this not being my account. After being advised by identitytheft.gov I 've completed and sent a fraud affidavit via certified mail. I can see they received it but nothing has changed. See supporting documents. even the USPS tracking. Also attempted to contact Alexander rose per the address listed on my credit report and the letter sent just info about dates of the collection. Did n't even read what I sent or cared. I sent it to the bureaus and they ignored it. Please help if you can thank you.... |
ALEXANDER-ROSE ASSOC, INC. Debt collection communication tactics threatened to take legal action May 15, 2016 - My landlord would just walk into our apartment whenever he felt like it. He would not give us any notice at all that he was coming by ir the HOA. Anytime that he came into the apt or the HOA, I know they new someone was home because we had the t.v on all the time we were talking. One time the landlord walked in on us -. We asked him multiple times to please give us notice just out of courtesy, plus by law he was supposed to if he was not doing anything of those exact things in the lease.
