I have also received 3-4 mailings from them over this period. In the initial call, I asked for the original nature of the debt. They did not respond, just asserted that I owed the money. Debt collection communication tactics frequent or repeated calls August 15, 2017 - For approximately the past 3 months I have been receiving recorded phone calls from Harris & Harris, a debt collection agency ( that is stated in the recording ), instructing me to call a number with a - area code. My name is never mentioned, nor is the reason for the call. They call at various times throughout the day or evening. Sometimes they skip a week, other times they call 3 or 4 times in a week.
