VHDA Mortgage loan servicing, payments, escrow account March 14, 2016 - My mortgage is with Virginia Housing Development Authority. I pay my mortgage online and this month there was an additional fee of $350.00 indicating it was a fee for possibly mitigation and/or short sale ( it was n't clear ). I tried calling VHDA but could not reach them. I tried just paying my regular mortgage fee but the system would n't allow me to.
