January 3, 2017 - I pay my Chase Sapphire Card in full, every month, without exception. At times, I end up paying a few days late due to travel/work. Because I pay in full, I call and ask at time of payment for a refund of any late fees/interest ( if any ), and they have 100 % of the time obliged ( for obvious reasons ). -/-/2016 this happened again, and I was told on the phone that the late fee/interest was waived and I paid the remaining balance in full. December 14, 2016 - Hello, I had a balance on my Chase - credit card carried over from a prior month. During the month of -/-/- I made $1600.00 in cash advances. I then made a payment before the end of the billing cycle for $6000.00. Chase did not apply any of the $6000.00 toward the cash advance. They applied it to the balance that was on the account at the start of the billing cycle. November 13, 2016 - I do n't understand why the credit card can compute my interest based on a 28 day basis? It should be at least 30 days at least, the average number of days in a month. That would provide a fair chance for consumers to pay within a usual pay period. Both times after opening and purchasing on the accounts they have automatically enrolled me in paperless statements and by the time I actually get a paper bill ( calling them after email alerts on account ) I am charged late fees.
