Navient consumers have reported over 33 official complaints related to Right to dispute notice not received. Out of the 33 consumer complaints against Navient, 27% were disputed by the consumer (i.e. the consumer was not happy with how Navient responded to their complaint) and 100% were processed in a timely manner. 3% of consumer complaints against Navient resulted in the consumer receiving monetary compensation (e.g. money, cash reimbursement, etc.) and 3% resulted in non-monetary compensation.

In the - paragraph they state that it is their second attempt to notify me of the debt yet they have never contacted me before nor have I ever heard of General Revenue Corporation until today -/-/- when I received their letter. They repeatedly send me letters that do not offer the validation of debt miranda nor the mini miranda. I have told them they are in violation of the FDCPA and to cease communication. The last letter I got from them said that even though they are a 3rd party collection agency they are not subject to FDCPA rules and regulations because it is a government fine they are trying to collect. Phone # - - - -. The lady was extremely rude! She stated she was collecting for my student loans, this would be from when I attended - - - - -/-/- to -/-/-. When I received the first notice from them postmarked-/- to my current address ( as reported on my credit report starting - ) it was a notice for - and an opportunity to request a hearing. I contacted them immediately and asked for proof of debt. Then yesterday a collection company called my cosigner and asked for a payment of $4000.00 toward a debt from -/-/- of $14000.00. The collection company also told her that by paying $4000.00 her financial responsibility as a cosigner would be removed.
